Main Aims The main aim of this course unit is to train students to design adequate information systems which fulfil users’ needs and the objectives of organisations, always taking into account the short, medium and long term. Other Aims 1. To train students to use identification techniques of critical factors of success, activities modeling and business processes. 2. To train students to use conceptual modeling techniques of information, particularly object classes. 3. To train students to use user interface modeling techniques. 4. To train students to use a design methodology of computer technology. 5. To train students to use the available computer tools on Database Management Systems (DBMS) for Information Systems prototyping. 6. To train students to use relational modeling techniques.
