From SSKE
The overall objective of the CRIS project involves identifying strategic research directions and specific technology with informatics support of type SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), to base RDI policy decisions in setting priorities of resource allocation for the development of science of services and support innovation in services.
CRIS project will lead to the development of practical recommendations on setting priorities and improving coordination and concentration of research and development resources in the science of services in Romania, the objective of the program "Capacity, Module II - Increasing efficiency and impact of RDI activities. These support policy measures for innovation in services will be based on validated data, a better knowledge and more nuanced background assesment of services sectors (own, in economics, in administration). This data will be put in correspondence with the services sector in the EU, which represents 71.6% of European GDP and 69.2% of total employment. The project will highlight the role of innovation in the services sector - not seen as non-technological innovation and distinct from manufacturing inovation, but as an integral part of an efficient economy and effective public sectors, based on knowledge. From this perspective, the approach to service development through RDI will support both the theoretical elements, the model, which consolidates services as science, and the prospect of formalization, development and materialization of the concepts, methods and tools of innovation in services by proposing strategies and specific policies at the national level.
